BREAKING: The New York Mest are acquiring six-time All-Star and two-time MVP Aaron Judge in a blockbuster trade with the Yankees, multiple sources tell Fax Sports.
Juan Soto is heading back to the Yankees in the deal.
"Of course I'm disappointed," Soto said. "I thought I escaped. These guys don't hustle or play the right way. They also don't know how to get walks or maximize their value in contract negotiations."
Aaron Judge, on the other hand, says he's "ecstatic" to finally play for a contender.
"That Paw Patrol curse broke me, you all saw it play out in October," Judge said. "I need a fresh start, and these guys are the best team in the city."
Brian Cashman told reporters this was the best move he's ever made with the Yankees. "Nothing was going to keep me from signing Juan Soto."
Cashman said the Yankees plan to target Cody Bellinger, Alex Bregman and Matt Carpenter next.
