In a thrilling NFC East showdown, the Washington Commanders staged a comeback to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, leading to some spirited trash talk from Commanders' quarterback Jayden Daniels. Post-game, Daniels was quoted saying, "Rocky fell off," drawing a comparison to the iconic underdog boxer from the "Rocky" movies, suggesting that the Eagles' days of glory might be behind them.

The comment was met with laughter from teammates Terry McLaurin and Jamison Crowder, who were seen in the locker room mimicking scenes from the Rocky films, with exaggerated punches and the famous "Yo, Adrian!" line, all culminating in a mock knockout, symbolizing their victory over the Eagles.

Daniels, riding high on the win, didn't stop there. He boldly predicted that the Commanders would not only surpass the Eagles in the standings but would go on to win the Super Bowl this year. "We've got the momentum, we've got the team, and we've got the spirit. Watch us," Daniels declared with confidence.

However, the quarterback didn't reserve all his comments for just the game. He had a few choice words for Saquon Barkley, who has played for two of Washington's NFC East rivals. "Barkley's a chump for jumping ships in the same division. Can't respect that," Daniels stated, showing his disdain for the running back's career moves.

This game and the subsequent comments have certainly added fuel to the already fiery rivalry between the Commanders and Eagles, with fans and analysts alike buzzing about the implications for the rest of the season. Whether Daniels' bold predictions come true remains to be seen, but for now, his words and the team's performance have certainly stirred the pot in the NFL's most competitive division.
